Sudhir Choudhrie is a Renowned Philanthropist, Heart Transplant Survivor, and Businessman

Sudhir Choudhrie’s story is full of encouragement and motivation. He was born in 1949 and raised in Delhi, India, by a single mother who served as an exceptional role model and caregiver. At eight, his mother took him for a comprehensive medical check-up when the doctor discovered that he had a leaking valve. This was the saddest news ever, but Sudhir did not let the complications interfere with his dreams and career.

Sudhir Choudhrie completed his high school studies with good grades and earned a spot at the University of Delhi. He graduated with a degree in economics and worked for a short period at a real estate business owned by his grandfather. Mr. Choudhrie started his venture where he could resale exported UK television equipment to the Indian government. The business earned him high profits from Indian government officials as they opened more TV stations in the country. He used the profit to expand his business by selling consumable goods and farm equipment.

As his business Expanded, In 1975, Sudhir Choudhrie opened the Magnum International Trading Company Limited. This made him a big fish and respectable in the Indian export market and worldwide. His vast knowledge in this field also attracted many entrepreneurs after his partnership. As a result, he started a collaboration with Taj Hotels & Resorts in 1995. He developed four successful resorts that attracted local and international tourists. Sudhir Choudhrie continued to raise his bar, partnered with Adidas AG in the same year and opened a great branch, Adidas Indian Trading. It developed around 200 shoe stores and many manufacturing plants in India. Sudhir has consistently grown throughout his career and has been a role model to many. He has proven that weakness can’t be a hindrance to anyone. All that matters is attitude and dedication.
