He actually traveled to Ukraine in order to personally help hand them out. Ukraine’s donations did not stop there. Gutman and his team also donated laptops as well as software needed to hospitals that were in dire need. 

Between the equipment and the tests his team single-handedly may very well have saved thousands of lives. To a layman, this may not seem like any type of issue for a millionaire. The business and healthcare expert explains that they just write a check and something is delivered somewhere across the world. However, Ron Gutman and his team never just write a blank check. 

Especially not where medical supplies are concerned, as Ron Gutman recalls. The regulation and certifications that are needed in order to ship medical supplies across the world are extensive. This was not a simple process. But this is definitely a process that Gutman wanted to handle personally.
