Greg Aziz On Organizational Behavior

Business expert and serial entrepreneur Greg Aziz is recognized as one of North America’s leading innovation, strategic management, and organizational effectiveness experts. He is the Executive Director of the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) at the University of Western Ontario, where he also served as Chair of the Doctoral Committee.

Greg Aziz Education Background

Greg Aziz studied as an undergraduate at the University of Western Ontario and earned a Masters at the London Business School while working at IBM. He later completed his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior at the London Business School. “I was always interested in understanding why some people were effective, and others were not,” explains Aziz. Some of his early research focused on how a person’s physiological responses affect their ability to make decisions under pressure or stress.

His Ph.D. advisor, Roger Stoltzfus, an internationally renowned expert in Organizational Behavior, said he was the most brilliant student he’d ever had. In 1991 Greg Aziz became a lecturer at Western Ontario. He was appointed coordinator of the MBA program in 1997 and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics in 2002.
