Greg Aziz is the CEO of Aziz Iron Works Inc, a Canadian industrial conglomerate. As the first African-Canadian CEO of Aziz Iron Works Inc, he has helped raise international awareness for the company and its products. Greg was an entrepreneur at heart and took a keen interest in the company’s growth strategy in countries like China, India and Brazil.                         

He is also a successful author with two #1 bestsellers under his belt: “The Leader Effect” (2011) and “Conquering Chaos” (2015). Led by Greg Aziz, Aziz Iron Works Inc has over 6500 employees worldwide and generated revenues of over $400 million in 2015. 

Up to now, more than 50 brands have been produced by Aziz Iron Works Inc, which includes steel cars, rail cars, buses and trucks. Greg Aziz is also known for his fundraising efforts in Canada. He led a $3 million campaign to revitalize the Canadian National Exhibition Centre and a $2 million campaign.

This, to acquire land and construct a new building to house the Hospital for Sick Children. He was named by Profit Magazine as one of Canada’s Top 100 most influential business leaders and was awarded Toronto’s Distinguished Business Leader Award in 2015. Greg Aziz is a well respected business leader and mentor.

Greg has received honorary doctorate degrees from six universities, including York University, McMaster University, University of Toronto and Ryerson University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Railway Association and a past board member of the Toronto Transit Commission. Greg Aziz was invited to participate in Canada’s Rideau Hall Advisory Group on National Security and Foreign Policy, where he served as an advisor to the Canadian Prime Minister.
