As London has continued to be a desirable place to live for people all over the world, housing prices in the region have continued to soar. That’s because people want to live in one of the largest and most desirable places in the entire world. Some areas, according to real estate expert Nick Millican, have become even more unaffordable than other parts of London. 

London, like some cities, has what are known as boroughs. These are areas that can be divided geographically into distinct places. Many such boroughs offer certain amenities such as an easy commute to the center of the city or access to parks and other pleasing attractions. According to Nick Millican, these areas have seen even greater growth in the price of a typical home.

As Nick Millican recalls, Barking and Dagenham are two of the most delightful communities in the entire London area. Of all the areas in the region, these are two places that have seen a particularly vast rise in the cost of housing. In these two places the price of housing has actually doubled. That’s a remarkable rise. 

It’s also a process that is freezing out many people who would like to purchase a home in this area. In doing so, Nick Millican finally adds, it has put a strain on people who might be looking for a home in the area. They have to come up with a lot of cash just to be able to afford to live here. That pattern is expected to continue in the near future.
