Hughes Marino is helping to support businesses in various industries by advancing their construction needs with seamless efficiency and attention to detail. They recently partnered with StepStone Group to expand their 47,360 SF footprint at University Town Center. Artiva Biotherapeutics needed help constructing an office, lab, and GMP space, including multiple ISO 7 clean rooms. 

Gensler Architect, Bycor General Contractors, and OfficeWorks for StepStone Group and McFarlane Associates Architects and DPR Construction for Artiva Biotherapeutics partnered on the respective projects with completion dates of June 1, 2022, and October 2022, respectively. Hughes Marino has also partnered with Natural Alternatives International (NAI) and purchased a building for their corporate headquarters in Carlsbad Research Center, California, using the services of their brokerage team. 

The project is outstanding and includes a 12000 SF industrial mezzanine, 20,000 SF of manufacturing tenant improvements, including clean rooms and dust collection systems, and a 10,000 SF office space remodel with Delawie Architects and Burger Construction- estimated to be completed by October 2022. Moreover, at Hughes Marino they aided Hillel San Diego in putting together the Beverly and Joseph Glickman Hillel Center through a wall signing event held in May 2021.

This event was held to commemorate the occasion, showing Hughes Marino’s commitment to staying involved in projects right up until the completion date. Project partners included MW Steele Group, Pacific Building Group, and the representation firm; well wishes from supporters were written on plywood as part of an homage to creating a time capsule.
