Greycoat: Non-Cash Incentives Being Used to Encourage People to Buy Homes

The housing market in the United Kingdom is struggling. That is why many home builders are offering people non-cash incentives to purchase homes. According t Greycoat real estate specialists, there was a survey that was recently taken by the Land Index & Housingbuilder. 

 

But Greycoat informs more on this concern. Fifty-nine percent of the people who were surveyed stated that they offered people white goods and carpets to purchase homes. Forty percent of the people who responded stated that they offered to pay stamp duty and legal fees. Sixteen percent of the people surveyed stated that they offered mortgage subsidies and cashbacks.

 

There are many challenges that home builders in the United Kingdom are facing. Greycoat claims that eighty percent of the people stated that they are dealing with planning delays. 

 

Nearly half of the people surveyed stated that they have other struggles such as a lack of land, cost and mortgage. Greycoat adds that the United Kingdom’s economy is something that 36 percent of the people surveyed stated was a major concern for them. Charlie Hart works for Knight Frank as a partner.
